Breathing Air Quality Test

Our Air Quality Testing, checks the paint sprayers breathing air for excessive quantities of: water vapour, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oil mist and odour. We can test the levels produced and provide certification of our results.

*Air-fed BA should be examined typically every month, in line with the manufacturer's instructions. Additionally, the air supply quality should be tested every three months.

LEV/COSHH Examinations (Local Exhaust Ventilation)

Under COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) legislation regulation 9, states that exhaust ventilation should be "thoroughly examined/tested by a competent person at least every 14 months." We will carry out a thorough examination to suit your own requirements, including measuring airflow velocity in your spray booth, room or extracted enclosure. A certificate would be provided detailing the results.

Smoke Clearance Test

We are able to carry out a smoke/fog test to determine the elapsed time taken for over spray to completely clear from the spray booth, room or extracted enclosure. This indicates to the painter the safe time to wait before lifting their visor on their breathing apparatus. A certificate would be provided detailing the clearance time of the spray booth, room or extracted enclosure.
